Charity: water

Talk about having an impact! 9 year-old Rachel Beckwith’s birthday wish was to raise $300 so that 15 people could drink safe, clean water. She died in a car accident before this goal was fulfilled. People were moved by Rachel’s wish and through her mycharity: water page, $1.2M was raised to dig wells in Ethiopia. This video follows Rachel’s mum and grandparents as they go to Ethiopia on the anniversary of Rachel’s death to visit the community Rachel helped. It’s pretty incredible to see this welcoming, the joy of the community and the impact this young girl had – 60,000 people will drink clean water.
