Dr. Rich Mahogany on Mens Mental Health | 0:31 |

Men have a way of doing things, says Doc Mahogany. Therapy isn’t one of them. That’s the obstacle that this terse man’s man persona is trying to bridge. This PSA is part of a campaign to drive a targeted cohort to ManTherapy.org, a dynamic website tailored specifically to working men (25-55) who are the “least likely to receive any kind of support” and who also represent the highest number of suicide deaths in Colorado. The campaign is a good example of a private-public collaboration aimed at overturning the damaging mindset that mental illness is unmanly and weak. Importantly, the approach is humourous and honest about reaching people where they are.

The belief that mental health is a weakness can be difficult to erode. Visit ManTherapy.org for a Dr. Mahogany narrated tour of this informative and helpful prevention resource.
