Protect our Defenders

The 2012 DoGooder Awards for Best Small Organization, “Protect Our Defenders” is a compelling testimonial demanding that those who serve in the armed forces be given protection against sexual assault and rape. Bearing witness to the institutional acceptance of rape and the fact that both sexes are targets of sexual abuse, the message is powerful and clear: our defenders need protection from their own ranks.
