Addiction lives in the silence, in not speaking about it openly. To mark National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month, we bring you the first half of a compelling clip from the You Are Not Alone campaign in which, a mother (Libby Cataldi) and son (Jeff Bratton) talk about the difficulty in getting help due to the stigma and lack of dialogue around the issue of addiction. This is a great example of how compelling in depth and honest interviews can be, just on their own. The clip ends abruptly, but if you’re interested you can see the second part of the interview on YouTube.

Get involved with the You Are Not Alonecampaign to decrease isolation and stigma and increase recovery support for drug and alcohol addicted teens.
