Today is World Refugee Day, so we chose a clip that, in a very direct manner, reminds us of the millions who flee their homes every year due to conflict and natural disaster. The narration is very well written and puts the viewer in the shoes of the refugees and then offers one solution to making sure that their rights and basic needs are ensured. The call to action is strong and lyrical at the same time.
Predictions are that 200 million people could be displaced within the next 40 years by natural disasters. Write to President Obama to invest in more disaster preparedness, build strategies and policies to help protect vulnerable people worldwide.
